WORMVACS2.0 dashboard

The WORMVACS2.0 consortium aims to contribute to the knowledge of human immunity to helminth infections and establish an effective pipeline to support helminth vaccine development. The project partners are using controlled human infection models in endemic and non-endemic countries to better identify and understand protective immune responses to parasitic worms. They are also relying on existing data from relevant human and rodent infection and immunisation studies.

To facilitate straightforward use of all these data sets by the consortium and beyond, the project team at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) created a data warehouse that stores clinical trial, experimental, and analysis data. The data is stored in a FAIR manner – Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. The dashboard provides an overview of all the added studies, including detailed information on study design, demographics, performed experiments, and analyses.

You can explore the dashboard by clicking on the photo below.

The data warehouse now provides crucial infrastructure for establishing an effective pipeline to support helminth vaccine development and will support the ongoing data collection and analysis. Newly generated experimental data, such as new pre-clinical vaccine studies performed over the course of WORMVACS2.0 will be added directly to the data warehouse throughout the project.
